Around this time of year each year I remember: I have this kindof creepy knack for finding four leaf clovers. Not just like I find a bunch each year. No. I find them all the time. I see them when I’m running. I have jewelry boxes full of them. I always have them popping out of books, or flattened between my credit cards, or under my mousepad.
The first year that I found an oddly large number of them, I attributed it to toxins. Our backyard was right next to this strange generator thingey, so I figured that the clovers’ genetics were getting messed up. But then we moved. And we moved again. And I just keep finding them.
The other day I was waiting for a client before a session, and I found myself there in the middle of a field, with my camera and a bunch of clovers. And so another season begins. Yay! The winter is officially over.
