At last at last I unveil to you a very exciting project: The Doggy Horror Picture Show! Acutally, I just came up with that name right, now and I’m taking suggestions for a different name, but here’s the gist: My friend Amy, co-owner of Sooper Dogs in Saco, commissioned me to do some spooky photos for her fall windows! She is selling doggie halloween costumes in her fabulous shop, so what better way to celebrate than to dress up some dogs, bring ’em to the graveyard, and do a shoot?! I added some creepy photoshop effects and voila. The windows will be up for the viewing this week and we are so excited!
In case you haven’t been there, LOTS of fun stuff goes on at Sooper Dogs! On Oct 24th, they will be participating in the Pumpkin Harvest Festival in Saco with lots of contests including Best Costume, Halloween Howler, and Best Trick for a Treat. Lots of fab prizes including a dog session gift certificate from yours truly. The festival will also feature music and events for kids and families. I can’t be there that day since I’ll be shooting the lovely Melissa and Jack’s wedding, BUT I will be joining Amy at the OOB365 Woofstock event on the next day, Oct 25th.
Sneak on into the shop, check out my art (it’ll def be up in time for the Biddeford/Saco Artwalk this Friday), and get your lil pup a costume! Photos of the finished windows are comin soon!
