Sara and Charlie (remember their nautical wedding in September??) came up to Maine this weekend for a newlywed session! We were unable to do an engagment session. so the two make a weekend of it and explored southern Maine for the weekend. I took them out to one of my new favorite places– Hamilton House and Vaughn Woods. Did you know that Vaughn Woods was the first place in America to host domestic cows??
We had so much fun on this perfect late fall day. Sara and Charlie are adventurous and fun, so they didn’t mind crossing a few brooks and jumping across a few mud puddles to get a great shot! And it was so good to see them again, hear all about their honeymoon, and present them with their wedding album in person, which is something that I rarely get to do.
Anyway, their shoot produced one of my new all time favorite couple shots, so I’ll post it first. I just love how the grass looks like it’s sparkling!
