A couple of days after Christmas, I got together with the P family to document their extended family Christmas and do some family pics. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with us and we got a rainy, cold day, making it impossible to go outside, and forcing us to stay inside with my flash. Boo. However, we made the best of it and did some posed pics along with some candids while the kids opened gifts, wrestled on the floor, enjoyed hot chocolate, and played with that star of the day: the new toy mouse!
Notice anything unique about this family? … They’re all wearing Converse sneakers! I had some great ideas for these brightly colored kicks in the snow, but alas. This was the first lifestyle session that I’ve done using artificial light. I’m really hoping to get back to the P family house and do some more portraits of the twins with good ‘ol sunlight. Still I had a blast hanging out with this crew. They’re so laid back, I felt like I was part of the family.
