Today I met up with another transport from Lucky Pup Rescue— I photographed seven dogs coming up from the south and ready to find their forever homes. These guys were pretty tired and scared from a long journey up to Maine, but arrived in amazing spirits. Volunteering at Lucky Pup is one of my favorite things to do, and also one of the hardest parts of my job. I just want to take them all home, give them all a good home, and I can’t. If I could I would adopt absolutely each and every dog that I met there today– they were ALL amazing.
If you or someone you know is thinking of adding a dog or puppy to their family, please consider rescuing through Lucky Pup. These are just a few of the MANY amazing animals waiting for great homes. If you can’t adopt right now but are interested in volunteering, they are also always looking for people to help out. More info (and more photos!) on their website.
Also, don’t forget that all rescued dogs get 10% off their session fees, and dogs adopted from Lucky Pup get 50% off!
