Holiday Mini Sessions: Round 2

I can’t believe the leaves are almost all off the trees, I’m wearing mittens on my morning walks, and 2011 holiday mini sessions are already done. Where has this year gone?

We didn’t get as great of a day this time with some fierce sunshine to battle with, but that was ok: for most of the sessions we ducked into the wooded area near the Wiggly Bridge and created a totally different feel for this round of photos. I quite like the warm woodsy feel! Also it was fun because on this day I worked with a baby, a one year old, a two year old, and a three year old… I liked comparing each each, right after eachother!

First up was Elle, on her second birthday! This is my third fall photographing Elle- I did her newborn session, then her one year birthday party, and now her second birthday. It is so fun to see her grow and grow!

Then came Anya, who I’ve also been photographing since she was a baby- I did a session for her at one year, and then she came to minis last spring. Word on the street is that she took a dip in the ocean after our session… what a fun, spunky kid. She’s going to be an awesome big sister soon!

Next I met Calvin, quite possibly the world’s most photogenic baby! I think I got both of these shots in the first five minutes…

Finally, Olivia, who is almost one! This was my first time working with Olivia and her parents… she is such a sweet little girl!

If you missed minis this round, be sure to check back in the spring. They’re such a great way to get a quick photo session in.
