Robyn & Bryan

They did it! Robyn and Bryan planned an amazing, beautiful, nautical themed wedding on really short time, in the midst of some really busy schedules.

Now that I’m shooting fewer weddings each season, I feel even more personally connected to each couple that I work with, and such was the case with them.

Their ceremony was at Saint Brendan’s Chapel in beautiful Biddeford Pool, and the reception was at the Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport. We even stopped off for some impromptu photos in downtown Kennebunkport on the way to the reception!

Between the cabbages on hand (a miscommunication– Robyn had asked a friend to get six cabbages for the ceremony– she’d meant cabbage plants, but the friend brought real cabbages!) to daughter Isabella jamming to “Call Me Maybe” on the lawn of the Nonantum, it was smiles all day long for this one. What a fun-loving, laid back family.

Jean Begin at Blooms & Heirlooms did the flowers, and the cake was by Gayle Forte at Let Them Eat Cake.

All photos from the wedding will be available soon for viewing and purchase by clicking the small shopping cart on the bottom right of the slideshow. Please remember that these photos are copyrighted and it is illegal to copy, save, or print these images. Slideshow music is “Til the Last Day” by Portland musician Joe Farren.
