Hmmm. It’s weird that it’s mid February and Addie has only been out to play and sled in real snow one time! It has been so weirdly non snowy here this winter. The other day we took the Addisons out to play in about a half inch of crusty snow.
Think I need to surrender that baby hat to the too small box? I just can’t part with it even though it keeps popping off of her silly head. 0-6 months. pshhht.
It is with a heavy heart that I write this post.
I learned that Peter and Rebeccah, whose wedding I shot back in 2009, lost their seven month old son Whitby two weeks ago. I never met Whit, but by all accounts, it sounds like he was one amazing little boy who spread his joy wherever he went. Knowing his parents, I know that his short life was filled with much love, humor and fun. You can read more about Whitby here.
They have set up The Whitby Fund. 10% of the funds will go to the PICU at Maine Medical center, and the remainder will help Peter and Rebeccah defray the costs for Whit’s care.
I have decided to donate one Deluxe Session (a full lifestyle session plus a disc with all high res images) to be raffled off to help raise money for The Whitby Fund.

Here it is! The long awaited album. I am hoping it doesn’t look too boyish as I instinctively used a palate of blues and greens. I am being wishywashy about the front cover– will show pics when I finally decide on what image for the front. It is a 30 page 8×8 album in classic white leather. The white background of some of them looks funky on the white of the blog. So use your imagination and know that the white is really a square

Absolutely adorable Nicole! And Addison is way too cute…..they really do grow up far too quickly and you’ve done a fabulous job documenting her growth!!
We’ve entered toddlerhood. More than just the cute toddling. Our dear Addison has blossomed a real personality all her own, and boy are we in for a ride, I believe! Yesterday was one of those days that she either had me in stitches laughing, or about to pull my hair out, and not much in between.
