I loved heading up to Saco, my hometown, to photograph the R family. I went to high school with Liz (pink shirt) and also worked with her at Courtney and Jeremy’s wedding a couple of years ago. This time we worked with her whole family, the cat included! What a fun, happy family. And by the way- mom Judi told me we’d meet to shoot at her home. She failed to mention that she lives in photographer paradise!! A barn, a horse, lush fields, beautiful flowers… it just kept getting better.
Had a lovely time with the B family in their beautiful garden last week. I posted on my Facebook page something that I’ve come to truly believe: all grandparents should have photos enjoying their grandchildren, and enjoying each other too! Whether with a professional or with a camera phone, having photos together is priceless. In one quick hour we were able to get mini sessions for each of the four grand daughters, each of four families, and the group as a whole, all before the sun set on a glorious July evening.
Alli: thanks so much for introducing me to your extended family! Hope to see you again soon.
And, just like that, one of my fantastic regular families is a group of four. (Well, four people, and one fur baby!)
Welcome, sweet Sage! So excited to watch you grow.
