welcome home, julie

At the risk of sounding like Ty on Extreme Makeover Home Edition… Welcome home, Nas family, Welcome home! It’s been a long stretch for my girl Angela and her family, looking for the perfect place to call home. They found it just in the nick of time… as baby Julie entered the picture a few weeks early.

There is just too much that I need and want to say about Angela, my dear dear friend, and I am feeling a little emotional today… so I’m going to leave the photos to do the talking, lest I end up a blubbering mess at my keyboard;)Basically it is this: Julie, you are a lucky  little girl, born into a family that already adores you through and through.

Elise

One thing I love about working with newborns is that they are always teaching me. Not to have my own agenda. To take my time. Relax. Just chill and let your family love on you. Little Elise reminded me of all of these things… the girl just wanted to be held, and then all was right with the world. Try to get her to lay down naked on a pretty blanket?! Why, when you’ve got three adoring people to dote on you instead? I think she’s pretty smart! We did manage a few solo shots of the wee one, but I love that her gallery is mostly filled with intimate lifestyle shots of this lovely family together.

I was so excited to meet Elise and her family, and I am even more excited that they’re part of the Baby’s First Year plan… which means I get to keep visiting with them as Elise and her proud and lovely big brother grow up.

Spring Minis

Awesome location. Beautiful day (if a little bright and windy!) Two fabulous new clients, two wonderful returning clients. Voila. Spring has sprung.
