Last weekend I had the honor to shoot Marisa and Pete’s beautiful wedding. They are a fun-loving, relaxed couple, and that vibe spread throughout the entire celebration.
Their ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal church in Hampton, and then we took a trolley up the coast to the reception at the Wentworth By the Sea. Breathtaking. We were joking earlier in the day about the new trend of “storm chasing” for bridal portraits and… that’s what we got! Epic, huge clouds along the coast! We did have to cut the formals short as the rain became too much for dresses and cameras alike, but so worth it for the drama and the lighting out on the coast as a storm headed in, just in the nick of time.
All images in the slideshow (as well as hundreds more!) will soon be available for purchase or download by clicking the shopping cart in the bottom corner.
Enjoy! Congrats again Marisa and Pete, and thanks so much for entrusting Autumn and I to document the big day!
Meet Max, one of the coolest little dudes I know. His mom (and one of my Best Running Friends) Kailey won the contest that I held to raise funds for the people of Nepal. Win win! Kailey and Neil- I hope that you love these photos of your family. Full gallery (with dowonload pin) coming tonight! 🙂 xoxo
Last weekend, under the glorious summer sun, Kathleen and Geoff were married at The Three Chimneys in Durham. Three Chimneys is one of my favorite places to shoot; everyone there is so kind and welcoming, and a good time was had by all.
Kathleen and Geoff: thank you so much for trusting me to document the big day! I hope that you enjoy your sneak peek. It was a pleasure to work with you both.
