My friend Christy and I recently did a photo session swap… While we have zillions of photos of our own kids, and of our kids with their Dads, being the photographer of the family means not many photos of Mama enjoying her family and kiddos. It’s so easy to let the time slip by and then you realize you haven’t had a decent family photo done since your daughter was 5 days old… well no more! I am SO grateful for the photos that Christy took of our family, and as I mentioned on my Facebook post, it was also an excellent exercise for me professionally to be on the other side of the lens.

Here are a couple of my favorites of Christy and her boys at Old Orchard Beach.

Here we are again, with hearts aching for those it feels impossible to help.

As with the disaster in Haiti 5 years ago, I will again be auctioning off a free photography session in hopes to raise money for the charities that can provide the most direct aid to the people of Nepal.
