Here it is! The long awaited album. I am hoping it doesn’t look too boyish as I instinctively used a palate of blues and greens. I am being wishywashy about the front cover– will show pics when I finally decide on what image for the front. It is a 30 page 8×8 album in classic white leather. The white background of some of them looks funky on the white of the blog. So use your imagination and know that the white is really a square

We’ve entered toddlerhood. More than just the cute toddling. Our dear Addison has blossomed a real personality all her own, and boy are we in for a ride, I believe! Yesterday was one of those days that she either had me in stitches laughing, or about to pull my hair out, and not much in between.

She is One.

My girl I can’t believe you are one. You are a toddler! I took so many cutsie photos with balloons, tutus, and the like, but this is the one I keep coming back to.

In your eyes I see your curiosity, your smarts, your sweetness. (ok and your begging to press the buttons on my camera…)

I am so grateful for you.

Finally posting a few snapshots from Addison’s family birthday party…. phew! Pulling together two parties (family party and baby friends party) right after the holidays is no easy feat. Luckily I had lots of help. Check out that amazing cake. Yep, my talented twelve year old sister Naomi made and decorated it from scratch! Unreal. Thanks to my bro (and sometimes assistant!) John for the pics that have me in them.

All during editing baby Pierce’s newborn photos, I had Silent Night in my head. His momma (remember her from the fall minis?) told me a beautiful, emotional story of how that song played right after he was born, on the winter solstice.

Pierce is an absolutely perfect gift to this family. What a wonderful way for me to finish out shooting for 2011.
