Welcome Garrett! Remember Michelle and Marty’s maternity shoot? And before that, their wedding? My first wedding EVER? It is on beyond exciting for me to document this family as it grows, and today, the cherry on the cake: newborn Garrett! Today he is six days new, and his mommy and daddy are relishing every moment.
He is just sweetest little guy; he didn’t make a peep our whole session, patiently allowing us to change his position, change his blankets… he was just happy as a clam.
And need I mention… his hair! Adorable adorable adorable. Garrett was given a handmade Native American basket and baby blanket, Michelle had the idea to put Garret in there for some photos to pay tribute to his Native American heritage. And ohhh my gosh. Typically I am all for newborn photos in black and white, but those shots with the bright blanket are now among my all time favorites. To me he looks like an angel.
